SCA increases prices on brown and white kraftliner by € 50 per tonne in Europe. The new prices are valid from August, 1, 2021.

The results were announced at a virtual ceremony held on 8th September. The new 'Smarties Giant Hexatube' won the public voting. The calendar is made using MetsäBoard Prime FBB Bright lightweight paperboard.
First Quarter 2024 Financial Highlights: Net Revenues of $1,252 million for the first quarter of 2024 were down 13% compared to $1,431 million in the first quarter of 2023 and down 2% compared to $1,274 million in the fourth quarter of 2023. Net Income of $10 million for the first quarter of 2024 compared to a net loss of $133 million in the first quarter of 2023 and net income of $22 million in the fourth quarter of 2023.

Crown Holdings aims to harness those timely growth opportunities while simultaneously advancing its sustainability work, said Sandrine Duquerroy-Delesalle, Crown’s vice president of global sustainability and external affairs.
“We are on track with the commitments that we made five years ago, and we are even more ambitious now,” Duquerroy-Delesalle said, also highlighting the importance of collaboration across the value chain to promote sustainability. Although certain goals have shifted, overall “people are more and more conscious — I think this is across Europe and the U.S. — about circularity and how can they get their packaging to be collected and recycled. ... Circularity is very important to our business.”
