UPS Q3 revenue grows 6.7% as higher-value shipments offset package volume declines
United Parcel Service (UPS) is seeing results from its shift toward more profitable shipments and customers. The strategy helped the carrier grow revenue in its fiscal Q3 2026, even as package volume fell in the U.S. and internationally.
For the third quarter ended Sept. 30, UPS reported a 6.7% revenue increase. Executives pointed to higher revenue per package and increased shipments from small and mid-sized businesses (SMBs) and enterprise customers. Network efficiency improvements also contributed to the company’s performance.
The results come as UPS scales back lower-margin Amazon shipments while investing in automation and other higher-return opportunities.
