Berkshire Hathaway's HomeServices of America unit has extended its custom publishing and content marketing deal with Havas House, the customer media division of Republica Havas Group and Havas Creative North America Network. The extension includes a new custom magazine, Lifestyles Southern California, which launches in December and targets the "ultra affluent audience" of Southern California's luxury real estate market. With a circulation of 75,000 print editions delivered directly to select, multimillion-dollar properties (valued at $3 million to $5 million).

Judge Alan D. Albright of the US District Court for the Western District of Texas, Austin Division, issued a written order granting a Preliminary Injunction barring the implementation of a vast and burdensome book ratings regime known as the “Reader Act,” ruling “that this law violates the Free Speech Clause of the First Amendment.” The law would have required independent bookstores, national chain bookstores, large online book retailers, book publishers and other vendors to review and rate millions of books and other library materials according to sexual content if those books are sold to school libraries, and to do so according to vague labels dictated by the state without any process for judicial review.

Outsourced marketing execution provider HH Global today announced it has signed an agreement to acquire the Marketing Services division of GBG. The agreement will further strengthen the interactive capabilities of HH Global, following the acquisition of Blueberry Wave in 2019. Existing GBG Marketing Services customers will benefit from the extensive specialist capabilities that HH Global provides.
