Koehler Paper Group, leading manufacturer of thermal paper is increasing prices for its thermal paper product range by 12-15 % for shipments from April 1st, 2018 onwards.
This increase is essential in order to offset the extreme rise of specialty chemical costs, mainly colorformer as well as historically high pulp prices.

Brazilian pulpmaker Suzano Papel e Celulose SA lost about 80,000 tonnes of pulp production and 25,000 tonnes of paper production during a late-May truckers’ strike, the company said in a securities filing on Thursday. For an 11-day period in late May, truckers protesting high fuel prices blocked highways across Brazil, seriously affecting industries ranging from retail to agribusiness to aviation. Pursuant to the terms of the Transaction, Tembec shareholders had the right to elect to receive either C$4.75 in cash or 0.2542 shares of Rayonier AM common stock per Tembec Share, subject to proration so that approximately 67% of the aggregate consideration is paid in cash and approximately 33% is paid in Rayonier AM common stock.
